Skyline Apartment

RESIDENTIAL | Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Located on the 22nd floor, the lighting strategy for this residence was developed to heighten the sense of altitude and openness. The design uses light as a structural element to define the minimalist interior, using a linear black track system to provide a sharp, rhythmic contrast against the neutral palette.

To address the expansive glass facades, the scheme prioritizes nighttime transparency. By utilizing deep-recessed optics and precise dimming, the design eliminates interior reflections, allowing the Amsterdam skyline to remain the apartment’s primary backdrop. This technical precision ensures a warm, intimate atmosphere that feels deeply integrated into the architectural frame.
