Lightsmith Studio was born from a shared love for architecture and the conviction that light defines the experience of a space.
Our practice focuses on seamless lighting integration, uniting Jade’s international design vision with Will’s two decades of technical mastery. We manage every detail from the initial concept to final on-site installation, providing the specialized knowledge required to turn architectural intent into a physical reality.

Will Armstrong
Technical Lighting DesignerWill Armstrong possesses a technical literacy rare in the design industry. With over two decades of experience as a licensed electrician and a Master’s in Architectural Lighting, he bridges the gap between creative ambition and built reality. This dual background allows him to translate abstract architectural concepts into clear, buildable systems, ensuring that even the most complex lighting integration is grounded in constructability and engineering logic
Jade Tran
Principal DesignerJade brings global design experience to the studio, having delivered projects of varying scale and complexity, from intimate interiors to major public facilities and airports. She specializes in custom luminaires that unite aesthetic intent with technical precision, applying the same level of detail and craft to large-scale infrastructure as she does to private residences
